"Bright Sparks combines real science and sound research with creativity, theatre and comedy to bridge the world of academia and business"

Annalie Killian, Founder & Curator, Amplify Festival

A selection of Australia’s brightest PhD researchers have 150 seconds to convince a panel of judges why their research deserves AMP's $5000 funding. Beyond the judging panel these researchers are pitching to the hearts and minds of an audience brimming with seed-funders and collaborators.

The program invites PhD researchers to collaborate with performance coaches to transpose 'geek speak' into an easily understood and entertaining pitch.

When:  6:00pm Tuesday 4th June 2013

Where: The Basement, 7 Macquarie Place, Circular Quay, Sydney

Cost:    $10 venue charge, free for AMP staff on presentation of staff ID card

Stay tuned for ticket booking information.
